Tonight on Channel 8 Harrison Barnes recruiting…will it get ugly? Even some Jake Sullivan detractors say he came off really well on “Marty & Miller”…

How about Jerry Crawford’s comments on M&M yesterday about Miss Metrodome. His repartee with Kenny Miller was classic. Podcast coming tonight ; KXnO.com and here on the 62andeven main page.

I-Cubs move to KRNT is a head-scratcher. MoneyBags Mike (Gartner) feeling the pinch? Hard to fathom…but I suspect his GE holdings are a tad down these days.

We love the I-Cubs; it’s the best local sports value in town and hope we can continue to do “Marty & Miller” shows on the center-field party-deck. Sam Bernabe and “Bow-tie Brigade” are our friends.

Hope the feelings are mutual.

Times tough: Des Moines famous dentist Dr. Bob Mergeas in coach week ago headed to OK City to hob-nob with Stoopes and boys at OU/OSU game. Crawford in coach. First-class…NFL Ref Scott Halverson.

If KXnO opts out of baseball play-by-play all together with the I-cubbies defection would they opt more more local sports talk after 7pm? hmmm…
