Remembering Kinnick North
I was in the dome for this game. Nothing would have happened if the dome officials wouldn’t have turned on the blaring, screeching noise to try to get people off the field. Everyone was simply partying with the team in the corner of the endzone and then the genius upstairs decides to start riling the fans up.
Tearing down the opposing teams goal post it awesome. Trying to take it out of a dome is even better. Bob Bowlsby still has my favorite quote regarding the “incident”.
“We can’t take responsibility for everything our fans do, but it’s a good bet Gopher fans did not tear down the goal post.”
