Its getting to the point where you start counting the days…this year especially with The Zach Johnson Factor!
Masters 2008 will be extra special this year obviously with the former Drake Bulldog defending. Imagine if the Basketball Bulldogs make a Sweet 16 run and Zach is tuning up to tame Tiger again! Drake University will be the toast of the town.
We’ll be in Augusta from Monday to Monday and our badge provider Masters Tickets JC reports the practice round packages are a ‘hot ticket’ this year and that the Par 3 practice round badges for Wednesday alone are commanding $550 right now.
A Monday/Tuesday with hospitality and golf at Forest Hills in N. Augusta is a pretty fair value and they report brisk sales with Tiger eyeing a legit shot at a ‘Grand Slam’.
Do I think he’s got a shot? Yes. Will he grab all four majors: No. But the first two, Augusta and the US Open, are Tiger locks. Tiger will not lose at Torrey Pines site of the US Open!
