Aaron Thomas named AP AD
Aaron Thomas, son of Ed Thomas, has been named the new athletic director at Aplington-Parkersburg and the assistant principal at the school.
The school board approved the hiring last night and it takes effect immediately. Thomas is also rumored to take over as head football coach in 2010.

Stinson, Jeffers named to Select Team
Iowa Energy standouts Curtis Stinson and Othyus Jeffers will lead the D-League Select team at the 2009 NBA Summer League presented by EA Sports later this month.
