Sometimes your best round of golf starts before you tee off. Played Mahogany Run in St. Thomas–the only golf course on this island.

Golf Notebook

Zach Johnson stands at tied 26th (out of 31) 1st round complete at the Mercedes-Benz on Kapalua. Double-bogey 5 on the par 3 whiped out birides on the 1st and 10th holes.
The defending Masters champ carded a 3 -over 76 on the par 73 layout.
