Geo Soto to the DL, maybe out a month
former ICub Geovanny Soto has been placed on the DL, retroactive to Wednesday when the Cubs catcher strained his left oblique.
Koyie Hill will take over the catching duties and 3rd baseman, left fielder, only hitter in the team Jake Fox will backup Koyie.
I wonder if part of Geo’s treatment will involve medical marijuana?
Bradley responds to bone head move
Milton Bradley responded to his bone head move of tossing the ball into the stands with two outs just about the way I expected.

Jake Fox headed back to Iowa
Jake Fox is headed back to Des Moines to make room for Aaron Miles. Jake was 5-12 during his stay with the Cubs.
Zambrano announces retirement
Granted people change their minds about retiring (Brett Farve) and take into account that it is Carlos Zmbrano, but according the Carrie Muskrat, Big Z says he is done after this contract, which ends in 2012.
