Aaron Thomas named AP AD
Aaron Thomas, son of Ed Thomas, has been named the new athletic director at Aplington-Parkersburg and the assistant principal at the school.
The school board approved the hiring last night and it takes effect immediately. Thomas is also rumored to take over as head football coach in 2010.

Koyie Hill will take over the catching duties and 3rd baseman, left fielder, only hitter in the team Jake Fox will backup Koyie.

Chops suspended for 2009-2010
The Iowa Chops were sent to the penalty box today for the 2009-2010 season. The AHL Board of Governors “involuntary suspened” the Iowa Chops franchise because they have been unable fix violations of the league’s Constitution and By-Laws.
