Whistle? What whistle?
Last Saturday, University of Houston’s Phillip Hunt drilled Tulane quarterback Joe Kemp after officials had blown the play dead due to a delay of game. Kemp heard the whistle and dropped his hands. Hunt did not hear the whistle and hit Kemp at full speed.
Kemp suffered a broken collarbone and is out for the season.
