You are in a slump. Fine, that is excusable for awhile.
You get hurt all the time. A problem, but can be dealt with.
You throw the ball into the stands with only 2 outs and runners on base. Get out.
Seriously, Milton. Leave. Quit. Retire.
Jim Hendry admit it, you goofed. You took a flyer on a loose-cannon and it didn’t workout. Cut your loses. Swallow your pride and get DeRosa back.
For those of you that missed it, in the top of the 8th Milton Bradley caught a fly ball hit by Joe Mauer and casually flipped the ball into the stands. All well and good except there was only two outs. Nick Pinto scored, and probably would have anyway, but when you are Milton Bradley you can’t make mental mistakes.
By the way, the Cubs are 10-3 when Milton isn’t in the lineup.
