Not that it really matters, but…/Marty Tirrell

Augusta, Georgia - Eddie Podolak is back and, quite frankly, its a good thing we didn’t have to listen to a game without him. “Pody” was asked why he was jettisoned from the broadcast booth after his Outback Bowl public transgressions and felt it was the gander down a woman’s blouse. Two points: Eddie retired and admitted to alcohol issues, did he not?

Old “mic-mate” Jim Zabel gets 62ndeven points for toughing it the last 6 weeks on TGCJ Sunday nights on WHO. Zabel, not feeling the best these days, serves up his half of the show from a rehabilitation facility in Arizona. Side-kick Jim Walden, meantime, said–several times–that NC STATE!!!–would cut down the nets in Detroit. ah, it was the Tarheels and, Roy, not RAY Williams coaches North Carolina.
Walden needs to let Zabel finish a complete thought before interjecting his wisdom.

The “Cotman” adds local flavor to the “Champ” with Iowa updates…good luck Larry!

Tiger has never broken 70 in a first round here….trend continues today…

Andy Garman steered us all to Sconyer’s BBQ last year….doesn’t open until tonight…Hellllloooo! It’s Masters Week!

Money notwithstanding, life as Kirk Ferentz is just not all that fun…methinks!

Duke pipline here in ACC/SEC Country say Harrison Barnes is a wink and a nod commit to Duke. Florida was closer than people knew…
