You are correct but for every womens sport eliminated a mens also needs to be. So Womens sports must remain in order for Mens to stay. God Bless equal rights.

Nope no WNBA tickets. But yes I root for sport teams regarless of sex.

Dumb Ass? Who thinks Marty rocks? LMFAO! I don't live in the country either, so get it right before you spout off. So pro sports is where it's at? Fine…I'll bet I can get to a pro game a lot faster than most of the people in Colorado, considering we have teams surrounding our fine state in all directions. A drive from Des Moines to Green Bay or St. Louis is a lot quicker, than say a drive from Cortez to Denver. So, in essence, we have 5 NFL teams within a 6 hour drive from Central Iowa, two of which are within 3 hours (KC and Minnesota) I'll take those options over your hapless Nuggets, Broncos, and Rockies. (Yawn)

And…how do you figure mens sports need womens sports? That's a freaking joke. I think you got it backwards, because if it weren't for mens Basketball and football revenue, the women couldn't exist. Unfortunately the equal rights crap has eliminated baseball and wrestling from a lot of schools.

Keep rooting on those hapless Colorado teams and supporting womens sports. Are you a WNBA season ticket holder too?

I have to agree here with Marty Rocks. That Iowa team is well know for shady players. Iowa recruits bad apples in a sad attempt to win. They are not able to get the players with both talent and morals. The get the players that have some talent and should be in prison.

Iowa football player have a lot to do in the off season. Drink beyond reason. Rape women. Steal. What a town.

You know I mean country dumb @ss. And it is true. How many arrests did Iowa have last year? I heard like 18. Sad!

You may not be aware but women's sport are essential in college without them you have no mens sports. Obviously you are a Chokeye fan. Most fans of college sports support all of the teams their college has. So I guess you are on record that when your Iowa women are playing you do not support them. Typical college fan picking and choosing the sports they have a little success in.

Yes Colorado has college teams also thanks I knew that, but as I mentioned before who cares. Pro sports is where its at.

Obviosly there is nothing else to do in Iowa about this time then watch the police scanner to see how many Iowa player will be arrested before the start of another season.
