Turner Gill’s attorney Steve Mooney spoke to Marty and Miller about his clients’ discussion and ultimate rejection to take over the head coaching position at Iowa State.

Nothing from that interview leads me to beleive that Gill is a definate no go. The agent danced around the issue and never directly said that Gill wasn’t interested. I would not be suprised ONE BIT to see Gill be the next head coach, heck the agent even lobied for him at the end of the interview!

Used to kind of enjoy Bama Bob, but his schtick is getting predictable and old. His SEC homerism knows no bounds and I about choked when he was asked on your radio show something to the affect of who was a great X's and O's coach, (and of course, he went to the SEC well) and answered Steve Spurrier. This guy can't hold a candle to half the coaches in the country, but got by with talent at Florida! He is so predictable…..the SEC has the best talent, coaches, blah, blah, everyone else is medicore. My favorite one that he constantly regurgitates is that an SEC team...
