Blake staying out West
According to ESPN, the Los Angeles Dodgers will announce resign Indianola native baseman Casey Blake to a three-year, $17.1 million contract.
Blake hit .274 last season with 21 home runs.
So much for the nice return to the Midwest and signing with the Twins. Rumors are the Twins had offered him a two-year contract in the neighborhood of $14 million.
