Not that any of this really matters but …
OK, so we’ve been swamped with angry Cardinals fans saying “Marty & Miller” have a Minny Twins bias. Listen, bottom line WE want baseball on the radio this spring. The suits at Clear Channel (Joel McCrea, Van Harden and Matt Gillon) move slow. Jon Miller’s show is garnering awesome mid-afternoon numbers; M&M gets a solid lead-in and they don’t want broadcast interuptous (sic) with day baseball. WFAN New York has the Mets and when the Mets are good they get numbers (ratings) and revenue $ (ad dollars).
Can we sell the Cardinals more than the Twins? Good question…I think the Twins will be better and Casey Blake at 3rd base won’t hurt.
In the end, a baseball-less KXnO will be a BIG mistake in my opinion.
